The highest point in Santiago invites children, girls, and young people to a memorable learning experience through the "Open Sky Classroom" initiative.
An unmissable activity for these winter holidays that allows you to see and think about Santiago in a different way, turning this visit into a unique opportunity for non-traditional learning. This is what Sky Costanera proposes. The tallest viewpoint in Latin America has implemented new ways of teaching and exploring the city, with content validated by the Ministry of Education for the whole family.
Through the "Open Sky Classroom" program, the space aims to become a great representation of the history and geography of the capital, with a focus on children, girls, and young people, but also adults or anyone interested in learning and discovering the development of the city of Santiago from above. The visits will last approximately one hour and will be conducted twice a day, led by a trained monitor from Sky Costanera using pedagogical language. Additionally, there will be staff ensuring the preventive sanitary measures of the place.
"As Sky Costanera, we are thrilled to reopen our doors with an incredible activity for our children, which will not only entertain and bring joy during their vacation but also provide them with an educational and playful experience. The infrastructure of the place allows for understanding the surroundings and recognizing our city," says Loreto Díaz, Chief of Operations at Sky Costanera.
Sky Costanera invites you to enjoy an urban panorama that seeks to discover Santiago in 360 degrees and appreciate the urbanism and geography of the valley where the city is located. This will be achieved through a didactic, safe, and interactive tour that covers various themes related to history, geography, and urban development, such as Cerro San Cristóbal and the Andes Mountain Range, among others.
The viewpoint is located in the Providencia commune and is open from Monday to Friday, between 11:30 am and 8:00 pm. On this occasion, there will be a special rate of $6,000 for children and young people up to 18 years old, and program registrations can be made through the website, reserving a spot for the visit at SkyCostanera.cl.
