Paris Launches Used Clothing Buy & Sell

Revolutionizing sustainable fashion! Paris is proud to introduce its innovative second-hand clothing business model, in collaboration with the most prominent startups in the sector: Vestuá, The Loop Kids, Market People, and Nostalgic.

Fernanda Kluever, our Customer and Sustainability Manager, emphasizes that at Paris we are:

"committed to the fight against textile pollution. Our new business model offers our customers the option to acquire second-hand garments in excellent condition, or to benefit from selling clothes they no longer use. Extending the lifespan of garments is our priority, closely followed by recycling."

The rise of second-hand fashion is undeniable, with 118 million consumers who bought or sold a used garment in 2021, compared to 36.2 million in 2020.

Do you have clothes forgotten at the back of your wardrobe? Now you can sell them through the platform https://www.paris.cl/vestua-paris.html. With a few simple steps, customers can sell their clothes on Paris.cl, thanks to this new easy and free service. They just need to select the clothes they no longer use, schedule their pickup, and Paris and Vestuá will take care of the rest.

In addition, on the platform, customers will find thousands of garments of all brands and in perfect condition for sale, at affordable prices for those who prefer conscious and differentiated consumption.

For the little ones, Paris has partnered with The Loop Kids, where you can also buy and sell second-hand clothes in good condition for children, thus promoting the circularity of these garments.

Market People, known for democratizing luxury with a selection of brands at affordable prices, will also be present on Paris.cl and in a pop-up store at Paris Alto Las Condes.

Paris has been committed for over a decade to reducing its environmental impact and promoting conscious consumption. It has driven changes and promoted concepts such as sustainable fashion through the Conciencia Celeste strategy and projects like Larga Vida a las Zapatillas, JuguetexJuguete, and RopaxRopa. The latter, present all year round in all stores, has been addressing fast fashion for nine years and has managed to collect more than a thousand tons of clothes.
