With the international "Safe Travels" seal, Sky Costanera is preparing for the revival of tourism
Under strict health protocols, the highest viewpoint of the capital is getting ready to welcome all foreign tourists. This is reaffirmed by the recent Safe Travels seal, granted to Sky Costanera of Costanera Center by the World Travel and Tourism Council, WTTC, represented in Chile by FEDETUR.
Safe Travels is the first global safety and hygiene seal for Travel and Tourism, representing the implementation of protocols designed under the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the prevention of COVID-19. Specifically for tourist destinations, this seal seeks for sites to be recognized as safe and of international quality and to instill confidence in each traveler.
Loreto Díaz, Head of Operations at Sky Costanera comments that "as a tourist destination we believe in the importance of continuing to strengthen prevention protocols, and having this seal helps us in this period of reactivation of the tourism sector to guarantee the health sustainability required to enjoy a safe experience."
From the highest point of Santiago located 300 meters high, with a privileged view of the capital, Sky Costanera has become a must-see for national and foreign tourists. Therefore, among the measures implemented to ensure a safe experience for both customers and collaborators, are:
- Digital sales points and E-Ticket to avoid in-person transactions and crowds. Tickets have a date, time, and validity.
- Reduction of capacity to maintain social distancing at ticket offices, elevators, and the viewpoint.
- Implementation of physical barriers at the cash counter, provision of hand sanitizer in common areas, and training on prevention protocols for the internal team and provision of personal protective equipment.
- Entry and exit of customers on different floors to avoid cross flows. In addition, the Costanera Center shopping mall has strict safety and hygiene measures to ensure the well-being of collaborators and visitors, such as customer capacity control and daily sanitization of all common areas after closing.
