Paris debuts in Peru with its first store

Santiago, March 25, 2013.- Paris debuts with its first store in Peru in the city of Arequipa. The store, which covers an area of 6,000 square meters and two floors, involved an approximate investment of USD 7 million. This store, located in the Arequipa Center shopping mall, is the first of a total of six locations that Cencosud expects to inaugurate during 2013, with an investment totaling USD 42 million.

For the operation, 250 people were hired, including both direct and indirect jobs, who were properly trained by the company to carry out their tasks with the same quality service and excellence that has always characterized the brand. In addition, the store employs part-time collaborators with special skills to support their labor inclusion.

"We are fulfilling a dream of many years by bringing our Paris store to Peru, and we hope to contribute to the social and economic development of this city, which has always been known as one of the country's most important commercial hubs."

Jaime Soler, General Manager of Paris

It is worth noting that the multi-store is working with various local and national suppliers to support products made in the country. Among these, leather footwear and underwear and pajamas made with Peruvian cotton stand out.

In addition, the public at Paris Arequipa will find all the proprietary and exclusive brands that characterize the store's offering, including Opposite, Aussie, and FST for young people; Alaniz, Nike, North Face, Marittimo, Greenfield, JJO, Calvin Klein in women's and men's clothing; Attimo in Home Decor, and brands such as Sony, Apple, and HP in Home Electronics and Technology.
