Johnson opens its first store since being part of the Cencosud group

Santiago, January 30, 2013.- The department store chain Johnson debuts with its first store in the city of Talcahuano, VIII Region. This store is the first opening since the chain was acquired by the Cencosud group at the end of 2011.

With an investment of USD 4 million, a sales area of 2,200 sqm, and about 100 new jobs, mostly generated by local people, Johnson starts 2014 with the opening of its store in Portal Talcahuano, the first under the operation of Cencosud and the first in the city of Talcahuano. This new opening increases the number of Johnson stores throughout the country to 39.
