To whom it may concern,

Through this letter, and in accordance with the provisions of Article 9 and the second paragraph of Article 10, both of Law 18.045, and Section 11, numeral 2.2 of the General Norm No. 30 of the Financial Market Commission, in relation to the Essential Fact communicated on the date of yesterday, October 17, 2023, I comply to supplement said information with the following:

That, given the resignation of Mr. Matías Videla from the CEO of Cencosud S.A., the Board of Directors has entrusted its Chairwoman, Ms. Heike Paulmann Koepfer, to oversee, on an interim basis, until the appointment of a new CEO, the proper functioning of the Company and to lead the process of appointing said position.

Likewise, in such capacity, Ms. Paulmann has been entrusted to lead the relations with authorities, shareholders, employees, and interest groups of Cencosud S.A.

Additionally, and in compliance with article 89 of the Regulation of the Law on Corporations, I inform you that Sebastián Rivera Martínez has been appointed as the interim legal representative of Cencosud S.A. for all the purposes indicated by said regulatory norm.
