Cencosud Brasil Registers as an Open Joint Stock Company

Cencosud Brasil has announced that it will continue the registration process to become an Open Joint Stock Company, before the regulatory authority of the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM).

This will allow Cencosud Brasil to report quarterly to the regulator and the market about its financial results, maintaining permanent contact with potential investors and financial entities, thus deepening the transparency that Cencosud has always promoted.

With this step, Cencosud will be prepared to execute the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process in Brazil, when market conditions warrant it.
