Cencosud Unveils Its New Corporate Purpose
Santiago, April 1, 2025 – Cencosud marked a milestone in its history by officially unveiling its new corporate purpose: “to serve extraordinarily at every moment.”
This new purpose represents a commitment that inspires Cencosud’s team of over 100,000 collaborators across the region to push boundaries and make a real difference in the lives of million people. It encourages going beyond expectations, anticipating customer needs, and delivering memorable experiences at every touchpoint.
According to the Company, this way of operating is not new—it is deeply rooted in Cencosud’s DNA, shaped from the very beginning by its founder, Mr. Horst Paulmann Kemna, and continues to drive every decision made within the organization.

Following the announcement of the new purpose, Cencosud’s CEO, Rodrigo Larraín, stated:
